BMX tracks in the Valencian Community

The 63 BMX venues in the Valencian Community: 5 racing tracks, 37 pump tracks, 18 skateparks, 2 bikeparks and one dirt spot, each with its own page and a guide by discipline.

The Valencian Community is, above all, pump track country: 37 of its 63 verified venues on bmx.es are pump tracks spread across all three provinces — Alicante (26), Valencia (28) and Castellón (9) — from Torrevieja to Torreblanca. And it is no longer just pump tracks: there are 18 skateparks listed, from Monte Tossal in Alicante to the Cullera park, venue of the Spanish BMX Freestyle Park Championship, plus 2 private bikeparks. Racing is concentrated in Alicante, and at a high level: according to their pages, Alcoy and El Campello hosted rounds of the 2026 Spanish BMX Cup, and the Mutxamel pump track hosted the regional championship of its discipline.

Racing, pump track or dirt: what each one is and who it suits

In the Valencian Community the usual path is to start at your local pump track and, if the bug bites, step up to a racing club in Alicante.

Starting from zero

Start at a pump track: no licence, no special bike, no sign-up. In the capitals you have Parque El Palmeral in Alicante and Soternes in València; if you want something bigger to progress on, Xirivella has a 200 m loop. Wear a helmet from day one — see the BMX helmets guide — and read the skatepark and track etiquette before you go: turns, lines and not cutting across. If you do not have a bike yet, the first BMX guide explains what to buy without overspending.

Going with kids

Almost any pump track on the list works for a first family session at a quiet time: Almussafes (about 180 m, a manageable size) or Elda (four loops to step up through) are good options depending on your area. If your child gets hooked and wants to race, the next step is a racing club school in Alcoy or El Campello. Before buying the bike, read the BMX for kids guide: size goes by height, not age, and a certified helmet is mandatory from day one.

Racing competitively

If the goal is racing, the route runs through a racing track and a club, and in this region they are in Alicante: Alcoy and El Campello, both hosts of the 2026 Spanish Cup, and Lo Torrent, in San Vicente del Raspeig — check its page before you go, as it warns of a structural repair approved in 2025 with a possible temporary closure. There is pump track racing too: Mutxamel hosted the regional championship of the discipline. You will need a race bike in your category size and a federation licence to compete. Calendar, licences and categories are on the racing hub.
