What to bring to a BMX race track

• Helmet: BMX racing competition requires a full-face; for training, at least a certified one.
• Full-finger gloves, long sleeves and long trousers: the norm on the track and what clubs usually ask for.
• Before riding, ask the club or whoever runs it about schedules: many tracks run sessions by category.
• Ride in the track’s direction and never stop on straights or berms.
• In Comunidad de Madrid winter mornings can be icy: wait for surfaces to thaw before riding.

General tips for this kind of venue; each venue’s own rules come first.
