What to bring to a pump track

• Always a certified helmet; gloves and knee pads if you are going to carry speed.
• Ride in the direction the venue sets and only drop in when the section is clear.
• BMX, mountain bikes, scooters and skateboards often share the track: look before you drop in.
• Slightly higher tyre pressure helps you roll without pedalling; check the range printed on the sidewall.
• In Comunidad de Madrid winter mornings can be icy: wait for surfaces to thaw before riding.

General tips for this kind of venue; each venue’s own rules come first.
