What to bring to a dirt or bikepark area

  • Helmet (ideally full-face if there are big jumps), gloves and knee pads.
  • Do not change jumps or lines without permission: locals or the operator usually maintain them.
  • After rain, riding damages the dirt: wait until it dries.
  • Tyres with some tread grip better on dirt than slick skatepark tyres.
  • In Comunidad de Madrid winter mornings can be icy: wait for surfaces to thaw before riding.
